These people took $400 from my husband and I. $200 of that was an UNAUTHORIZED transaction, we told them not to charge our card and they did anyway. They never handed us the keys, we never saw a rental agreement, we never got a receipt as promised from or prepay on the rental and they refuse to refund our money even though we were never given the car for our rental term! This is THE worst place to try and rent a car from, they try to scam you out of large amounts of money! Please find someone else to rent from!
Pay more and get better service.
Horrible company and very rude and unprofessional. The girl at the counter was not even paying attention to me and kept talking to other employees about getting quarters so she could get a drink. She wasn’t even at the counter when I came and another girl from a different rental company was sitting at her spot and said I can’t help you the. Called the Payless employee and she came ten minutes later.
AWFUL car rental experience! They have so many hidden clauses that they don't disclose at the time of your booking. They required a utility bill.... of course I didn't have one on me! Then the representative made me wait in line while she excused herself to go to the ladies room! How freaking rude! I walked across to budget/avis and they gave me a last minute deal!
The worst car rental service ever! Lots of bate and switch going on and they are unwilling to give corporate office info. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS ONE! I was told avis and budget are it's sister company but payless has its own corporate office! Payless is a SHADY company. I will be reporting their practices ti the BBB.
