Nice place to visit it's very interesting
I love the exhibits but I also love the cafe. I chef is awesome. Every 3 week of the month there is a custom menu. Favorite time to visit.
It has a nice interior. It's probably best when you're going for an event because the actual art selection is relatively small. They hold fun events though, and looking into it is a good idea
The current exhibit honors the bicentennial of Mississippi. Over a hundred artists are represented. The exhibit is not an exhaustive study of art in Mississippi bit is a wonderful overview. There are artifacts from the Mississippian culture to current works. Also a companion exhibit on White Gold (cotton). This exhibit due to generous grants is free and lasts into July 2018.
Most of this museum is free and we saw some really neat pieces. Has a shop and a cafe. The kids enjoyed looking at the art and splashing in the water out front.
