My 60 year old mother recently injured her foot on a Friday and went to the ER. She was given a surgical shoe and discharged to follow up with an orthopedic that she had seen in the past. The following Monday she found out that the orthopedist that she had seen previously would not be able to see her for a week, so she decided to try MS Sports Medicine. She was told that they could see her sooner. Once at receptionist desk she was told loudly, “I called your work and nobody knew you there and the other phone number was disconnected.” In the interim since her last visit to this clinic, my mother had moved to a different company location (but has worked for the same company for 30 years) and our home number had been changed. She was then told that because she had seen another orthopedist 10 years ago when she fractured the same foot the doctor could not see her until they got the records. My mother has never had an orthopedic surgery in her life and previously when she saw the other orthopedist for her foot, she walked around on it for two weeks before realizing that it was fractured.
Doctors Pickering and Ramsey have done surgery on my husband and me. We were both very pleased with the care we've received and would highly recommend both of them!
Excellent and caring services that is 5 star quality when it comes to insuring that the patient needs are met.
....IF I COULD RATE ZERO I WOULD
My mother called me from the waiting room and I knew immediately from her voice something was wrong. She stated that the receptionist was rude and she was thinking about leaving. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They need records from a doctor she saw for a fracture 10 years ago that did not require surgery (she was placed in a pneumatic walking boot). Give me a break. If they thought she was a drug seeker or Dr shopping they could have simply looked her up in the database and saw this was not the case; however, she was treated with a level of suspicion worthy of a criminal. Why? Because she sought medical evaluation and treatment for a foot injury!
Dr Almund has done a great job replacing my knee. The over all experience has been top notch care and after care. The hospital was impressive. The nurses have been very helpful. The therapy has got me on me feet again. Thank you all!!
I had knee replacement almost a year ago with what I would call normal recovery. Knee replacement was through Sports Medicine. But in last 3 months I have tried to see dr mehrle for follow up and it has been impossible! After waiting for 2 months for appointments for a problem I got a letter saying I was rescheduled. The day of appointment I came to the clinic and the NP was there but not dr Mehrle.. Apparently once you have your surgery it's impossible to be seen for follow up.. I requested a change of physician but it has been 4 days and I still haven't heard from this clinic.. Apparently they are just too busy to be concerned about individual patients. I would recommend anyone to find a less busy clinic for sure!!!!
